Code Of Honour (Policy)
In any war there is always some degree of respect for your enemy. Whilst we actively encourage creative game play and strategy, there is no need for cheating which only goes against the Spirit Of The Game: a set of ethics, or a code of honour if you like, which all participants must adhere to. Failure to abide by the Spirit Of The Game will not be tolerated.
Absolute Terror doesn't use fancy monitoring systems to highlight dishonourable behaviour because we have something better: veterans. Should these wise battle masters bring sufficient evidence to our attention detailing behaviour in violation of the Spirit Of The Game then the offending participant's squad(s) will be (without warning!) nuked - permanently!
Spirit Of The Game
Article 1) Participants may sign up for multiple squads, however, these squads must limit their activities to separate game areas i.e. don't go creating new squads simply to bolster your strength in an area in which you're getting your ass kicked. Devise a better strategy instead, or recruit some allies be it from the same faction or otherwise e.g. Angels may be contracted out for a battle if there's an 'N2 Mine' payment to be had.
Article 2) Participants using multiple squads must uniquely identify them to avoid confusion and finger pointing e.g. killers01, killers02 etc... are no good, however, Revlimit Funks, Wrath Of Bong etc... are perfect.
Article 3) Participants using multiple squads must not use squads in different factions collectively to better a single faction e.g. information gathering i.e. spying, friendly fire, item hand-offs, circumventing race limitations (each faction has it's limitations. Angels can't consolidate behind cover, SEELE are weak and NERV can't walk on water for example - that's life, live with it) etc... are all in violation.
Article 4) Taunting "Can't you Frenzied Charge in a straight line you mad biomechanoid?!?!" fine, but foul language no! There's no need for rudeness in Absolute Terror. Batter your opponent with mass ordnance or 'Berserker Rage' instead.
That Old Chestnut
The game's creators and its veterans are not likely fools. Lame excuses like "I was beta testing the game." or "I was getting minced by SEELE." won't prevent your squad(s) from being nuked.
